Our client school located in Bolton seek to appoint an English teacher to cover a maternity leave from January 2017.

• Full time English teaching position from January 2017

• Leading both KS3 and GCSE classes

All applicants interested in this position will be required to be available on a full time basis from January to lead a full timetable including GCSE classes.

The successful applicant will be joining a well resourced and managed department led by a highly experienced and supportive head of department. This school is located in Farnworth and has an excellent reputation. The English department have consistently achieved above the national average in recent years (67% A*-C 2014). The department is made up of 5 other members of staff and 2 full time subject specific support staff. This school is renowned for its support to staff and excellent CPD opportunities.

The head of department is looking to appoint an English teacher who holds:

* UK QTS, NQT are welcome to apply

* A proven record of delivering ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ teaching practice

* Experience teaching English up to GCSE Level to all ability ranges

* Strong behaviour management skills to ensure the schools behaviour management policies are utilised effectively

Located in Farnworth, the school is just a short drive from the M60 making the surrounding areas; Bolton, Wigan, Salford, Bury and Manchester easily commutable.
