Permanent English position available in Hayes for a full time position starting in September

Hayes based English teaching position - £145 to £230 a day

Are you an experienced teacher looking for new rewarding yet challenging role?

A lovely Catholic secondary school are looking to hire an English teacher to start in September for a full time position, to work for the academic year and take on a permanent position. For this specific role, the school is looking for an English teacher with excellent subject knowledge and experience teaching a English literature or language at key stage 3 to 5.

English teachers needed for September! - Interviews next week in Hayes

Requirements:

  • Applicants require UK recognised teaching qualifications, ideally with an English specialism (PGCE or QTS)
  • Experience teaching English Literature or Language at Key stage 3 to key stage 5 level, at least 1 year teaching
  • Teachers would be required to mark work, plan & prepare lessons
  • All applicants must hold an enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service (assistance can be provided with the application)
  • Must be able to provide a full 6 year career history, with two performance based references

The Role

  • This full time English teaching position begins in September and will involve teaching key stage 3 to key stage 5 (a-level)
  • This role will run to the end of the academic year at least and will potentially go permanent following a review.
  • Assuming an appropriate candidate is found, the school are offering a pay rate of between £145 and £230 depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Based in HAyes, this is a lovely secondary school rated as 'outstanding' by Ofsted as they noted "the leadership have been decisive ensuring education standards remain high and support is provided to all staff, whilst training graduates aiming to be teachers."
  • The attitude of the staff is maintained as the school's leadership afford a healthy work/life balance

The school is rated outstanding and continues to further its ambitions. The the new 'state-of-the-art' facilities personify this allowing teachers the opportunity to create innovative lessons, benefiting both staff and students a like.

The school is of Catholic denomination and promotes the key principles of the Catholic religion. Although the school promote and engage with religious activities, staff are not required to participate if they choose not too.
