English Intervention Teacher

Our client secondary school in Warrington are looking to appoint an English intervention teacher or tutor on a part time basis from September 2019.

The Head of English hopes to provide additional support to those pupils eligable for pupil premium funding, 2 days per week for the 2019/20 academic year.

The school wish to appoint an English teacher who holds experience of the EDUQAS specification, having either taught this or be an examiner. Any experience of EDUQAS would be particularly desirable.

Highlights of this English intervention teacher position:

• Teacher or English specialist/future teacher with experience of EDUQAS
• Part time position for the full 2019/20 academic year
• Follow the EDUQAS specification
• Pay will be dependent upon hours completed per week (£200 - £240 per week)
• Warrington based secondary school on the outskirt of the town centre

Working with a small group of pupil premium students, the school are looking for an EDUQAS English specialist who can provide small group/1:1 tuition to these students. This will take place 1 day per week (the day can be flexible) each week and is ideal for a graduate, prospective teacher or qualified teacher looking for intervention/tutoring work.
