Job Advert: English Graduate Teaching Assistant
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated English graduate looking to kickstart your career in education?
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an English Graduate Teaching Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about English literature and language, and who wants to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the lead teacher in planning and delivering engaging English lessons.
- Providing one-on-one support to students who may require additional help with their reading, writing, or comprehension skills.
- Conducting small group activities and discussions to enhance students' understanding of English concepts.
- Marking and providing constructive feedback on student assignments and assessments.
- Collaborating with the teaching staff to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Assisting in the organization and supervision of extracurricular activities related to English language and literature.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of English literature, grammar, and composition.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of students.
- Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred but not required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
