English Graduate TA - South Manchester
Are you an English Graduate with a passion for education? Do you have experience working with young people? Do you want to gain classroom based experience before going on to your teacher training?
Teaching Personnel are working with a number of secondary schools in the South Manchester area, rolling out our Future Teachers programme. This involves introducing English Graduates into secondary schools who will work as an English Graduate TA for the full academic year, before going on to the schools direct teacher training the following September. This is an opportunity to be introduced to a school as an English Graduate TA, and easily transition on to your teacher training.
Highlights of English Graduate TA position:
- English Graduate and future teacher roles available

- Pay rate £275 - £375 per day, depending on experience
- Opportunities in a range of Manchester secondary schools
As an English Graduate TA, you will be working within the Manchester secondary school as a teaching assistant in the English department. The English TA position is due to start after October half term, and continue for the rest of the academic year until summer. You will be working in a supporting role within the English department, working in the classroom with the classroom teacher. In addition to this, you will be working with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, providing intervention and support to pupils, both in and outside the classroom.
