Are you an experienced Engineering Teacher?

Are you looking for a new and exciting role for September in Nottingham?

Are you looking to work in a Secondary School?

Teaching Personnel are actively seeking Engineering Teachers to work with a client school in Nottingham. The role is to begin full time in September. The client is a technology school, with modern facilities and growing staff base. This role provides a great opportunity to work in a successful Technology department working in a forward thinking and creative team. You will be working within the OCR syllabus. 

Some experience on Product Design, such as using CAD and CAM, will be helpful in this role.

 

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a qualified and experienced Teacher of Engineering - Must hold QTS qualification

  • Course will be a KS3 course, with the possibility of KS4, so please be prepared with knowlege of the curriculum

• Be able to consistently deliver good or outstanding practice.

• Be experienced in planning an appropriate and challenging curriculum

• Have a thorough knowledge of present curriculum developments, particularly those relating to Engineering.

• Be an inspiring teacher with real enthusiasm for the subject.

• Be able to motivate his/her pupils.

• Be committed to high standards for both staff and students.

• Be prepared to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school.

• Implement and support all school policies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
