Education Support Workers

Education Support Workers required in Cranborne (close to Wimborne)

Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a SEN College that works with students aged 16 – 25 with conditions such as complex anxiety, mental health, Autism and, or associated difficulties to re-engage in education whilst gaining independent living skills.

Responsibilities of an Educational Support Worker:

• Build positive relationships with the students
• Encourage and promote independence within the educational setting
• Assist with education, recreational and teaching activities
• Ability to positively reduce and control anxieties and behaviours you may find challenging
• Have an empathetic and caring nature/ approach to our students

Requirements of an Educational Support Worker:

• Good interpersonal and team working skills
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• A genuine passion and interest within Health and Social Care
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle as the school is not accessible via public transport

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
