Early Years Teacher – Basingstoke – ECT’s welcomed to apply
Full Time - Long-term opportunity with scope for permanent placement
Salary: M1-M6 (dependent on experience)
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced EYFS teacher to join a fantastic school and team from September 2025. This vacancy is for an Educator who is driven, reliable and nurturing.
As the EYFS Teacher, you will take full classroom responsibility for a reception class, creating a safe, stimulating and engaging learning environment. You will be supported by a full-time teaching assistant and a dedicated leadership team who value collaboration, creativity, and care.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is creative and full of enthusiasm.
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
- Is a qualified teacher with QTS.
- Experienced in EYFS.
- Has an enhanced child only DBS on the Update service or willing to obtain one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework
- Promote a love of learning through play-based and structured activities
- Support the development of each child’s personal, social, and emotional skills
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting your teaching accordingly

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
