Location: Tameside SK14
Job Type: Full- time and Part-time Monday- Friday (flexible hours between 8am-6pm)
Salary: £13.75- £14.50 per hour
Start date: Monday 24th November 2025
Contract type: Temporary- opportunity to become permanent

We are working with a network of Nurseries across Tameside to recruit qualified Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Educators to join their teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for both full-time and part-time applicants to enjoy flexible working hours, typically between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, while supporting high-quality early years provision in nursery environments. We are looking for candidates who hold a DfE-recognised EYFS qualification and have relevant experience working with young children, either in nurseries or mainstream primary school settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to children aged 0-4 years.
- Confident with leading elements of the EYFS Framework.
- Supporting children’s learning and development through continuous provision and play-based activities.
- Working closely with other support staff to create a safe, stimulating environment.
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate learning records.
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Has experience working with children in EYFS.
- Holds a relevant qualification (in line with the new EYFS Framework guidance).
- Has a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
- Is proactive, patient, and nurturing with excellent communication skills.
- Works effectively as part of a team and builds positive relationships with children and staff.
- A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- First Aid Paediatrics trained.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
