Join Our Team: Innovative and Compassionate EYFS Practitioners Wanted for Nurseries and Primary Schools

Are you a forward-thinking, caring, proactive, and dynamic individual with a passion for early childhood development? We are seeking dedicated EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) practitioners to join our team in nurseries, where you'll support children under 5 years old. If you're ready to embrace an innovative approach to childhood development, allowing children the freedom to explore their boundaries and perspectives while guiding their imagination towards enriching learning experiences, we want to hear from you!

Key Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Expertise in planning and observing Early Years children to facilitate development and progress.
  • Proficiency in child development through systematic observation and assessment.
  • Experience in providing personal care to children, tailoring it to specific needs as required by each setting.

Desirable Skills:

Additionally, the following skills and traits would be highly desirable:

  • Skills relevant to speech and language therapy or development.
  • An energetic and vibrant approach to childcare.
  • A caring and nurturing personality.
  • Strong observation skills related to speaking and listening.
  • A cheerful and engaging persona that complements the nursery environment.

The Role:

  • Work across various education settings in Grimsby and surrounding areas in collaboration with Teaching Personnel.
  • Preferred access to transportation and flexible availability for scheduled and short-notice bookings.
  • Daily responsibilities centered around small groups of children:
  • Engage children in daily activities to foster their development.
  • Monitor progress and plan future activities in line with developmental expectations.
  • Utilize basic behavior management skills to maintain a conducive learning environment.
  • Create a safe and joyful space for children with a caring, loving, and passionate approach.
  • Ensure children feel included and valued throughout their learning journey.
  • The ultimate goal: Provide children with the best possible start to their learning experience and share in their successes.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
