EAL Teaching Assistant

Join a popular and over subscribed secondary school in South Manchester seeking to appoint an EAL Teaching Assistant on a full-time temporary basis.

The successful candidate will have experience in teaching English as an additional language to secondary aged students and will work with the schools EAL Co-ordinator to support students across years 7 – 11.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the National Curriculum and will provide support to students on a 1:1 and small group basis. We are looking for a knowledgeable candidate with the ability to deliver variety of different teaching and learning styles to match individual learners needs.

Applicants must have excellent communication skills and must be able to work effectively on their own and as part of a team. The ability to also deliver online sessions is also desirable.

This successful secondary school is popular and over subscribed secondary schools located just a short drive from the city centre of Manchester.
