Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced EAL (English as an Additional Language) Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in Bracknell this September.

About the Role:

This role involves working closely with students who speak English as an additional language, supporting their academic progress and language development across a range of subjects and key stages. The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping pupils access the curriculum and thrive both socially and academically.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver effective EAL interventions tailored to individual student needs

• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and support staff

• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting support strategies accordingly

• Promote an inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued

• Engage with parents and carers where appropriate to support learning at home

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Have experience working with EAL learners in a school setting

• Demonstrate strong communication and differentiation skills

• Be flexible, resourceful, and proactive in supporting learners at varying language levels

• Be committed to raising outcomes for all pupils
