Job Title: EAL Teacher
Location: Bracknell, Berkshire

Contract Type: Full-Time / Long-Term Position
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced EAL (English as an Additional Language) Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in Bracknell this September.
About the Role:
This role involves working closely with students who speak English as an additional language, supporting their academic progress and language development across a range of subjects and key stages. The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping pupils access the curriculum and thrive both socially and academically.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver effective EAL interventions tailored to individual student needs
-
Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and support staff
-
Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting support strategies accordingly
-
Promote an inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued
-
Engage with parents and carers where appropriate to support learning at home
The Ideal Candidate Will:
-
Hold QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
-
Have experience working with EAL learners in a school setting
-
Demonstrate strong communication and differentiation skills
-
Be flexible, resourceful, and proactive in supporting learners at varying language levels
-
Be committed to raising outcomes for all pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
