Full-time Food Technology teacher for Coulby Newham Secondary School

Are you a Food Technology specialist based in Middlesbrough seeking a full-time role? Do you have experience teaching up to KS5? Would you be open to taking on a placement until the summer, and potentially for longer on a part-time basis? If so, we may have the ideal role suited to you!

One of our partnership schools based in Coulby Newham requires a Food Technology teacher on a long-term basis, covering maternity leave. The teacher you will be covering is responsible for delivering curriculum across KS3, GCSE and A-Level classes, therefore recent experience teaching in these areas is highly desirable and will increase the likelihood of you being shortlisted for this role, though NQTs will certainly also be considered.

OVERVIEW

  • Full time role commencing as soon as possible, until the end of the academic year-with potential of going permanent on a part-time basis
  • Delivering curriculum up to KS5, planning, preparing and marking classwork and assessments
  • Tracking the progression of pupils, ensuring to pinpoint challenging areas and provide necessary support
  • Delivering creative, engaging lessons, to ensure that students focus on their studies
  • Weekly rates ranging from £600-800
