DT Teacher

Are you a DT Teacher seeking you next challenge? Do you want to teach in a Good Manchester secondary school?

Teaching Personnel are the market leading recruitment agency for education, covering England and Wales. Our Manchester secondary office is located in Manchester city centre and services 70% of secondary schools across Greater Manchester. Our client secondary school is located in central South Manchester, and is looking to recruit a DT Teacher to join their Technology department. This DT Teacher vacancy is for a full time, on going position, starting in January 2019. There is an opportunity for a school based contract for the successful DT Teacher, following an introduction from Teaching Personnel. The school are seeking a DT Teacher who has a passion for education, and has excellent subject knowledge. The successful DT Teacher will be able to teach up to KS4, and display good behavioural and classroom management.

The secondary school is located in central South Manchester, and is a modern, purpose built secondary school. The school is easily accessible, located a short drive South from Manchester city centre. The school is also accessible via public transport, with direct links from Manchester city centre. The location of the Manchester secondary schools means the cohort of pupils is multicultural, with an above average of number of pupils with EAL. In their most recent Ofsted inspection, the Manchester school was graded Good in all areas, with the pupil's safety and school leadership highlighted as particular strengths. The co-educational school sets high standards for both pupils and teachers, encouraging all in the school environment to strive for success and reach their full potential.

The successful DT Teacher will display good behavioural management skills.
