DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY TEACHER – SEPTEMBER START - EXCELLENT TUBE LINKS – NORTH LONDON

  • £130-£170 per day

Teaching Personnel has a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Design & Technology Teacher this academic year in a rewarding role working in a modern and expanding secondary school based in Islington, North London.

This well-equipped secondary school is located close to a major public transport link. The school are focused on continued improvement in all areas for an institute who are already one of the best respected in the local area. The ongoing aim is to go from 'Good' to 'Outstanding' in the next Ofsted inspection.

As a Design & Technology Teacher your role will involve joining and playing a key role in this innovative, hand on department. You will have the chance to work closely with the superb Head of Department who oversees the department with integrity, professionalism and is always keen for new staff members to bring fresh perspective and ideas on board. Your role will be centred on providing fun, creative lessons in a department designed to get the best of out teacher and students.

This post requires a teacher who is to QTS standard, ideally has some previous experience working in a UK schools. You will have the drive and skill to add value to the school’s curriculum and practice through innovation and new ideas. You will demonstrate a strong understanding of good teaching practice and a pragmatic approach to dealing with your students. Above all the school want a Design and Technology teacher who has the skills to build the self-esteem of all their pupils and push them to exceed their own expectations.
