Job description

Teaching Personnel are urgently seeking Teaching Assistants with experience of working with pupils with special educational needs(SEN), especially in the Bournemouth area.

These roles are in both mainstream and specialist SEN schools.

Roles can be short term temporary roles which can be an excellent way of seeing schools before committing to a longer term role, sometimes lasting up to a full academic year.

The actual roles themselves can vary greatly, depending the needs of particular children and can be 1:1, working with small groups of children or a mixture of both.

Ideally you will have experience of working with SEN children or adults.

However, Teaching Personnel are always seeking staff who are looking for a way into a career in education and working as a general Teaching Assistant is a great way to start.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
