Cover Teacher Opportunities – Flexible Work Across Wigan Schools
Are you a confident and adaptable individual looking to gain classroom experience or return to teaching? We’re looking for reliable Cover Teachers to support a range of secondary schools across Wigan on a flexible, day-to-day or short-term basis.

Role Overview:

Deliver pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects
-
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
-
Support students in completing tasks and staying on track
-
Communicate effectively with staff and report any issues
Ideal for:

Qualified Teachers looking for flexibility

ECTs/NQTs gaining experience
-
Cover Supervisors or aspiring teachers
-
Education graduates considering teacher training
Requirements:
-
Degree or teaching qualification preferred
-
Confident classroom presence
-
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
-
Availability for at least 2 days per week

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
