Cover Supervisor Vacancy

As Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit flexible classroom supervisors to help support a number of the Secondary schools in the Swansea, Neath, Ammanford and Llanelli areas that we are working closely with. 

All applicants must be professional, reliable and willing to work in various local schools on an ad hoc basis during the busy exam period. This role will also involve working in Secondary Schools during non-exam periods as a classroom supervisor, maintaining classroom discipline. 

A DBS on the update service and registration with the EWC is essential. However, this can be completed through Teaching Personnel. 

Classroom Supervisors are responsible for:

• Maintaining classroom discipline in line with the school discipline policy
• Ensuring the work that is set by the school gets completed during the lesson 
• Building rapport between yourself and pupils

• Maintaining the noise levels, behaviour and structure of the classroom 
• Supporting pupils as they undertake work in line with the national curriculum priorities

• Promoting the school ethos and adhering to all school policies and procedures
• Working closely with all school colleagues and under direction of the school leadership team.

Essential Criteria: 

-          Be registered with the educational workforce council 

-          Have a DBS on the update service 

(Both of these things can be done through Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
