Cover Supervisor (Unqualified Teacher) Jobs in Rochdale

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a number of schools within the Rochdale area who require Cover Supervisors or Unqualified Teachers to join the school when planned and unplanned absences arise and step in too cover pre set lesson plans and supervise the classroom, ensuring all safeguarding and behaviour policies are followed.

  • Full and part time hours available, as you work on a flexible basis on days that you are available and when the schools needs additional cover in the form of a Cover Supervisor or Unqualified Teacher
  • Paid a competitive wage, dependent on your experience and responsibilities within the role (up to £70 a day)
  • Opportunity to work in a number of schools in the Rochdale area as a Cover Supervisor or Unqualified Teacher with the chance to secure a permanent contract in the near future
  • Further training and development available through Teaching Personnel's market leading CPD academy as well as being in partnership with award winning training schools in the local area

Previous experience either working as a Cover Supervisor or delivering lessons in secondary schools as an Unqualified Teacher is preferred, however we would welcome applications from anybody with transferable experience or those who have supported young people in a similar capacity. Due to the nature of the role, no specific teaching qualification is required as all work will be set and you will simply be required to deliver the work whilst you supervise the classroom and keep high behaviour and safeguarding standards. This would be an excellent opportunity for anybody who is considering a future career in teaching or for any recent graduates who would like to obtain further experience within a secondary school setting before enrolling on a PGCE or similar Teacher Training Programme.
