Cover Supervisor - Temporary Work

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a number of schools in the Rochdale area who require additional support in the form of Cover Supervisors to cover classes when planned and unplanned absences arise.

Working as a Cover Supervisor is a very rewarding yet challenging role where every day will be different. You will be tasked to cover pre set lesson plans in the absence of the regular class teacher as you support the pupils with any additional needs they may have, whether these are learning, behaviour, SEN or SEMH related. Strong behaviour management is a must have quality as whilst assisting the pupils with their work you must ensure everybody is adhering to the schools behaviour policy whilst using positive reinforcement as well as sanctions when necessary.

Whilst working as a Cover Supervisor with Teaching Personnel you will have the opportunity to work at a wide range of schools in Rochdale and the surrounding area to give yourself experience in a number of different environments, in term this will increase your teaching ability and experience if this was a career you are interested in for the future.   • Full time position as a Cover Supervisor, covering the lesson when planned and unplanned absences arise.
