Cover Supervisor position in North and North West London - Seeking A supervisor with strong Behaviour Management - Earn between £100-£150

We are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to work alongside a KS3-KS4 pupil in a 'Good' secondary school in the Highbury area. The pupil requires a Behavioural Specialist who has prior experience dealing with students with similar needs. A minimum of 6 months experience is required from the potential candidate and the ability to deal with challenging situation intuitively. We would like someone who is able to show a good level of care, patience and demonstrate willingness to adapt and learn throughout the pupils' development process. It is vital to ensure the student can attain and maintain good academic levels.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 6 months experience working with pupils with behavioural challenges
  • Be able to work full-time from September
  • Be confident when supporting pupils behaviour inside and outside of the classroom
  • Deliver 1:1 sessions to maintain pupils progress
  • Promote positive behaviour at all times
  • Have Restraint Handling, De-escalation or Team Teach training
  • Support in preparations of any extra appropriate classroom activities required for the pupil
  • Implement pupil safety procedures
  • Any related course or qualification would be ideal ( Youth Worker, Ex- Militants or Criminology graduates)

The Secondary Schools offer a friendly committee of pupils and staff members and stand on diversity, thus welcome children of all culture and background.

As a Challenging Behaviour specialist you must show genuine passion in helping the pupil to achieve their full potential. Incorporating previously gained experience to tailor to the new individuals needs and show willingness to learn of any new skills or knowledge required.
