Cover Supervisor - Heywood - 2019
Cover Supervisor required for full time position in Heywood, starting at the soonest convenience.

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a large secondary school in Heywood that require a full time Cover Supervisor to join the school and support with covering lessons when planned and unplanned absences arrive. This is a long term until at least the end of the academic year, however the school have expressed there is the opportunity for a permanent contract at the end of the position.
Our client school is a large secondary school based in the Heywood area and is located a short distance from major links to the city centre, making it easily accessible by both public transport or your own car, with free on site parking for staff provided. The school has an excellent reputation in the local community and is continuously improving thanks to the large investment it has received as well as having had a recent multimillion pound refurbishment, resulting in excellent facilities in all departments throughout the school.
The incoming Cover Supervisor must be confident in covering lessons of all age groups as well as be able to support classes of mixed ability. All class work will be provided and you will not be required to plan or mark, however you will be expected to support the pupils to your best ability with any queries they have about the work. Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor is an advantage however we would welcome applicants from those with similar experience such as Teaching Assistants or Youth Workers. We would also like to hear from any recent graduates who would like experience as a Cover Supervisor before enrolling on a PGCE or similar Teacher Training Programme.
