Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in close partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Wallasey, seeking a Full-Time Cover Supervisor to join their team from September 2025.

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons across various subjects in the absence of teaching staff. Your role is to ensure continuity of learning, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and support students in staying on task.

This is a full-time, long-term position that offers stability and the opportunity to work as part of a dedicated and welcoming team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons to classes across KS3 and KS4
• Maintain good order and discipline in the classroom
• Support students in completing work to a high standard
• Provide feedback to relevant teaching staff on student engagement and behaviour
• Uphold the school’s values and behavioural expectations

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary school is essential
• Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills
• Confident delivering lessons across multiple subjects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to full-time work
• A genuine interest in education and student development
