About the Role
We are seeking confident, reliable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Liverpool and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in education, progress into permanent roles, or enjoy flexible working across a variety of school settings.
You will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring a positive learning environment and maintaining classroom engagement.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-set lesson plans in a calm and professional manner
- Maintain classroom discipline and promote positive behaviour
- Support students with their learning and keep them on task
- Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures
- Build positive relationships with staff and students
Requirements
- Confidence and/or experience in a teaching or educational environment
- Strong classroom presence and communication skills
- Flexibility to travel to schools across Liverpool and nearby areas
- A professional, adaptable, and proactive attitude
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
