Primary Cover supervisor
Location - Southampton
Contract - Part Time and Full Time
Start date - ASAP
We’re looking for passionate and enthusiastic Cover supervisors to join primary schools in the Southampton area, supporting teachers and inspiring pupils to reach their potential.
We’re looking for:
- A recent graduate in any subject (education-related degrees are a plus) not essential but preferred
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning
- Communication and teamwork skills are imperative
- A willingness to learn and grow in a classroom environment
- A positive, proactive, and reliable approach to work

What you’ll be doing
- Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons
- Working 1:1 or with small groups of pupils who need extra support
- Helping to prepare learning materials and organise classroom activities
- Encouraging pupils’ confidence, independence, and good behaviour
- Observing experienced teachers and learning best classroom practice

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
