COVER SUPERVISOR - ROTHERHAM
Are you a versatile, confident and reliable individual looking for your first step into a career in education?
Teaching Personnel have many exciting opportunities for hard working individuals who are looking to start a teaching career in a Cover Supervisor role. You don't need to be a qualified teacher, you don't even need to have a degree! You do, however need to have the drive and determination to produce a good work ethic among students and motivation to focus and achieve. It is vital you hold at least a grade C at GCSE English and Maths and are able to follow instruction, particularly as an integral part of your role will be to follow teachers lesson plans.
Whether you're looking for day-to-day supply or a long-term or permanent position it's important you fully understand and appreciate the work that it requires to teach a secondary school class, up to GCSE and perhaps even A-level and that your teaching and behaviour management skills compliment those of the classroom teacher.
The schools we work with throughout Rotherham are in need of confident, experienced, and professional individuals with the passion for working with children in a secondary school environment. Although schools are closed currently due to COVID-19, Teaching Personnel are still actively recruiting suitable candidates for our partner schools Cover Supervisors requirements for September.
