Teaching Personnel are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join our team in the prestigious London Borough of Westminster.

Job Description:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuity of learning in our secondary schools. You will be responsible for supervising and engaging students in the absence of their regular teachers, making sure that their learning experience is both productive and enjoyable. This role is an ideal stepping stone for individuals considering a career in teaching or education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage classroom behaviour.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and materials.
  • Ensure a positive and conducive learning environment.
  • Support students with their learning and provide assistance when necessary.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Ideally the successful candidate will have:

  • Experience of working with 11 – 16-year-olds
  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or the equivalent qualification)
  • A sense of humour combined with a firm, no nonsense approach
  • Full enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to undergo one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
