Teaching Personnel are currently looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and passionate Cover Supervisor to work in a Secondary school in the Bristol area. If you want to be able to teach but do not have a particular specialist subject, or perhaps you just fancy dipping your toes into a variety of subjects? Becoming a Cover Supervisor may just be the perfect role for you!

The School:

You will be joining a well respected Cabot Learning Federation academy school.

"As as academy we set high aspirations in all our students, recognising that no matter what a child's experience and background, they deserve the opportunity to pursue excellence."

In its latest OFSTED report the school achieved GOOD in all categories and received very positive comments about the appointment of new principal in recent years:

"Since his appointment he has acted with determination to improve the quality of teaching, learning and assessment for all pupils. He understands the importance of raising standards but at the same time ensuring that improvements are embedded and long-lasting. This has led to a steady, long-term improvement in the quality of education across the school."

Although the results of the OFSTED are very pleasing the school is still striving for improvement and is on its way to achieving 'Outstanding' in some of the categories.

The Role:

As a cover supervisor the work will be set for all lessons and so you will just be responsible for assisting the pupils with the set work and class management - keeping the pupils on task.

This role is wonderful for those who do not want to have the added responsibilities of lesson planning and marking.

The successful candidate should have good behaviour management skills and be confident in leading a class.

What is in it for you?

Pay: We care about each and every teacher we employ and so naturally we pay our teachers well with a very competitive rate! You will receive your pay straight into your bank account on a weekly basis, it couldn't be easier!

Support: You will have your very own Recruitment Consultant who will be there to offer support and guidance when needed.

Training: Working with Teaching Personnel grants you access to our CPD academy in which a variety of courses are available to you such as ' Teach' which is becoming increasingly desirable with schools.

If this sounds like something you'd be interested in , or simply want to know more then please get in touch today!
