A thriving secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking a full-time Cover Supervisor to join their team from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to make a real difference while gaining valuable classroom experience.


About the Role

You will be responsible for supervising whole classes during the absence of a teacher, ensuring students stay on task and follow the school’s behaviour policies. All lesson content will be pre-planned—your role is to deliver instructions, manage behaviour, and support students in completing their work.

This school is part of a high-performing multi-academy trust, known for its welcoming ethos, excellent student behaviour, and strong leadership support. Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Confident managing groups and speaking in front of a class

  • Previous experience in education or transferable skills from sports coaching, youth work, or other leadership roles

  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills

  • Reliable, professional, and committed to student progress

  • Degree-level education is desirable but not essential
