Job description

Cover Supervisor — Day-to-Day Supply
Location: South Birmingham (Multiple Secondary Schools)
Rate: £100 – £115 per day (for approx. 6.5 hours), depending on experience

We are currently seeking experienced Cover Supervisors to work on a day-to-day (D2D) basis across a range of secondary schools in South Birmingham. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in different school settings and can adapt quickly to new environments.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months’ experience working as a Cover Supervisor within UK secondary schools (essential)

  • Strong classroom management and the ability to deliver pre-set work to classes in the absence of the teacher

  • A DBS on the Update Service (ideal) or willingness to obtain a new one

  • Reliable, professional, and flexible with availability

Responsibilities

  • Supervising classes and ensuring students remain on task with pre-prepared lesson materials

  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Reporting any issues or completed work to relevant staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
