COVER SUPERVISOR - OLDHAM - FULL TIME - JANUARY

Full time Cover Supervisor needed for a long term position at a large modern secondary school in Oldham

  • Full time position working as a Cover Supervisor, covering any planned or unplanned absences
  • Working within a large modern secondary school located in the heart of Oldham
  • Earn up to £75 a day, dependent on experience and the needs of the school
  • Opportunity for further personal development through Teaching Personnel's CPD courses

Cover Supervisors are an increasingly important asset to schools, with the need for external cover rising and budget cuts restricting the usage of fully qualified teachers, schools are more regularly going down the unqualified route to bolster their cover team and support staff. In the absence of the regular class teacher a cover supervisor will be required to deliver the pre set work whilst assisting pupils with any queries or additional needs they may have, whether these are learning, behaviour, SEN or SEMH related.

"We are seeking a Cover Supervisor to join the school on a full time basis in January to help support within the classroom and cover any upcoming planned or unplanned absences. Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor would be preferred; however we would welcome applications from graduates considering a career in education or those who have worked in a similar role within a secondary school such as Teaching Assistants." - Assistant Head

Our client school is a large modern secondary school based in Oldham with excellent facilities throughout and a strong support structure installed for both pupils and staff. Recent Ofsted reports have praised the schools leadership and the excellent facilities throughout this modern school where all pupils feel it is a safe place to learn. Located a short distance from major public transport links to Manchester city centre the school is easily accessible with free on site staff parking.
