Job description

Are you an experienced educator with a passion for supporting vulnerable young people? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting tutors to provide 1:1 support in English, Maths, and Science to Key Stage 3 students in Newark.

This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals in the Mansfield area who can combine subject knowledge with behaviour management expertise to create meaningful change in a student's education journey.


The Role Involves:

  • Delivering personalised tuition in core subjects (English, Maths, Science) to KS3 pupils

  • Managing and responding to behavioural challenges effectively

  • Building strong, positive relationships with learners to foster engagement and progress

  • Creating a safe and structured environment tailored to individual learning needs


What We Offer:

  • Hourly pay between £25 – £30, depending on experience

  • Weekly payments via PAYE

  • A supportive team available 24/7 to assist you

  • Flexible scheduling to suit your availability and promote a healthy work-life balance


This position suits qualified teachers, teaching assistants, or youth workers with relevant experience in behaviour support and a desire to work closely with young people who need extra guidance.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
