Are you passionate about helping others succeed? At TP Tutors, we’re looking for enthusiastic and dedicated tutors to support learners in Alvaston as they prepare for their Functional Skills qualifications in English and/or Maths.

What You’ll Do

As a tutor with TP Tutors, you’ll work one-to-one or with small groups, delivering high-quality, tailored sessions that meet individual learning needs. This is your chance to make a real difference—whether you're an experienced educator or new to tutoring.

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons

  • Track student progress and adapt your teaching to support their development

  • Build confidence, encourage motivation, and promote independent learning

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in tutoring or education (Functional Skills experience is a plus)

  • Strong subject knowledge in English and/or Maths

  • A patient, supportive attitude and a passion for helping learners thrive

  • A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
