Construction & DT Teacher

Position: Full Time

Salary: To scale or: GBP22,000 - GBP40,000

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a progressive Construction & Design and Technology department. The Academy has a successful team working in a modern, well equipped environment. They are seeking a Construction &  Design and Technology teacher to teach students in both key stage 3 and key stage 4. You will help to deliver the new AQA DT specification for their large cohort of GCSE students and also teach a newly written KS3 curriculum. The successful candidate will be proactive and will actively look for opportunities to engage the natural inquisitiveness of their learners. Candidates should be able to enthuse pupils and contribute positively to help develop the curriculum provision offered by the team. We would also welcome applicants who are looking for a part time position.

You will:

• Be a motivated teacher who inspires your pupils and is keen to work with colleagues to develop the delivery of the DT curriculum.
• Be innovative and resourceful when delivering curriculum.
• Be flexible, collaborative and resilient.
• Have high expectations of your pupils, the school and yourself.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
