I am currently looking to recruit a strong Teacher of ICT/Computing and Business Studies on a long-term basis starting from January at a Secondary School in the Pontefract area. This school is part of a multi-academy trust and striving towards Good by Ofsted with a brand new Headteacher on board.

The mantra of the school is 'Culture + Consistency = Excellence' and is already delivering results; from the way students respect one another and their impeccable behaviour in lessons, to how the school have transformed the learning environment. My secondary school client is looking for the following:

  • Extensive subject knowledge within ICT and Business studies
  • Flexibility to work across both Computing and Business departments
  • Willingness to plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Experience of managing challenging behaviour and the ability to follow instructions
  • Individuals who are wanting to work as part of a team to achieve the best results possible

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
