Computer Science / ICT Teacher Required

We have an incredible opportunity for a Teacher of Computer Science to join a secondary school 4 days a week, helping them develop for academic greatness. This position is looking for a committed, enthusiastic and driven individual who can support this venture and help students engage and achieve above standards in this subject.

This excellent venture is open for Fully Qualified Teachers or Newly Qualified Teachers looking to do their teacher training or further their experience in the outstanding and rewarding career path of teaching. I am looking to meet with enthusiastic individuals who think they've got what it takes to reap the rewards of teaching Computer Science and ICT up to KS5.

About the role:

The successful candidate should be passionate about Computer Science and have great academic qualifications and subject knowledge. They are expected to understand the educational vision and values the school holds and be committed to high ambitions for pupil attainment. This dynamic and demanding school requires a teacher with resilience and see the importance of a great rapport being built between students and fellow staff members. In return, this staff member will be given exceptional support within a purposeful environment, the opportunity to work within an innovative and ambitious family of schools, to reap the rewards of teaching hard-working pupils and high quality facilities. The appointed Teacher will feel valued, mentored, challenged and provided with own opportunities to develop own skills further, such as with CPD training.

The successful candidate must:

  • Have a 'can-do', positive attitude
  • Have experience with different exam boards
  • Have the drive to make a difference
  • Be invested in students achievement
  • Confident with classroom control
  • Be calm, caring and conscientious
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills

To be considered for this role, you will be required to:

  • Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
  • Be able to provide two references from the last 6 years.

In order to register with Teaching Personnel, candidates are required to have Child Workforce DBS registered on the update service. All candidates are required to complete a free Safeguarding course through Teaching Personnel, or provide a relevant safeguarding certificate during your registration process. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory vetting checks and references.
