Classroom Support Assistant - Year 1

Location: Weston Super Mare

Salary: £54-65 per day

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work in a brilliant school in Weston Super Mare area.
This school requires someone to work 1:1 with students who have social, emotional, mental health difficulties. Due to the child's challenging behaviour these students require 1:1 support throughout the school day in order to stay focused and be supported throughout the lessons as well as working through specific activities outside the classroom. This role is full time, 5 days a week and would be for immediate start up until the end of the academic year.

The ideal candidate:

• Would have experience working with challenging behaviour
• Be a strong and resilient individual who would be confident working with challenging behaviour
• Be able to build good relationships with students and staff that you will be working alongside
• Experienced with special educational needs or behavioural issues
• Be available for immediate start
• Ideally holds a child workforce DBS on the update service, or the willingness to do one
