Classroom Behaviour Support

Personal and professional experience will be taken into consideration for the suitability of this role.
Become classroom behaviour support in a Specialist Provision that caters for pupils with Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH), both boys and girls aged 10 - 17 years of age.
- Specialist Provision on the outskirts of Lancaster (LA2)
- Hours/ days: Monday-Friday, 8.30am-3.00pm (term time only)
- Long-term positions available
- Start date: ASAP/ January 2024
- Competitive rate £11.85-12.70

Within these roles, as classroom behaviour support, you will be expected to create positive relationships with the pupils and encourage positive choices and behaviour. You will be expected to provide support within the classes and work collaboratively with other LSAs and the class teachers.
The school are keen to consider a variety of staff in terms of experience, you are likely to be successful whether you are an experienced SEN support assistant, a graduate looking for experience in specialist provision or have current or prior experience supporting individual with challenging behaviour, this can be in a personal or professional capacity.
Supporting children with complex Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs is important and rewarding work, and you will benefit from the tremendous support offered by their hugely experienced teams. As you help the children and young people achieve real and significant progress, you will enjoy having a direct, positive impact on their developing lives.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
