About the Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Classroom Assistant to join a highly supportive and welcoming specialist education setting near Wimborne.

This outstanding environment is known for its nurturing ethos, excellent facilities and commitment to helping every learner achieve their full potential.

You will play a key role in supporting students aged 16 to 18 in their day-to-day learning.


 

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking someone who is passionate about working with young people and is ready to make a positive impact from day one.

  • Minimum of 6 months childcare experience, ideally supporting children with additional needs

  • A UK driving licence, as the school’s location requires the ability to travel independently

  • A patient, caring and proactive approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills


 

Your Daily Responsibilities

  • Supporting students with their learning across a range of subjects

  • Helping to create a calm, encouraging and structured classroom environment

  • Assisting teaching staff with planning and delivering engaging activities

  • Providing one-to-one support where required

  • Promoting independence, confidence and positive routines

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
