We are seeking a confident and resilient Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join a specialist education setting in the Wimborne area. This is a unique opportunity to work in a stunning countryside environment where staff genuinely care about the progress and wellbeing of every student.

You will be working closely with students aged 16 to 18 in a secondary/college-style environment, helping them remain engaged in learning and supporting them through day-to-day challenges.
What You’ll Be Doing

Building trusting, professional relationships with students

Providing one-to-one and small group support in lessons
-
Helping students to regulate emotions and stay focused
-
Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning
-
Working collaboratively with teaching and pastoral staff
What We’re Looking For
To be considered for this role, you will need:
-
A minimum of 6 months of childcare or relevant support experience
-
Experience working with young people who may need additional support
-
Confidence, patience, and a calm approach when responding to challenges
-
A driving licence and access to transport, due to the rural location of the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
