About the school:

A 38 and 52-week mixed-gender residential school for students aged 7-19 with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, and associated difficulties.

Drawing upon their proven expertise in specialist education and 24-hour care, they focus on the development of personal, social, communication and living skills. A multi-disciplinary team and high staff ratios ensure intensive individual support.

About the role:

Your role will involve working in the residential homes, promoting independent living whilst maintaining a safe, clean and enjoyable environment to live and work in.

Night Shifts are 12 hours long (20:00 - 08:00) and you will be working on a 2-week rolling rota.

Part time applicants will be considered, if you can work the full 12 hour shifts with some weekend availability.

Who are we looking for:

Ideally, we are looking for candidates who have experience supporting children or adults with special needs. If you do not have experience but have a confident and compassionate personality with a willingness to learn, then you will be considered.

There will be personal care involved, so its important you are comfortable with this.

The school is not easily accessed by public transport, so its essential you have a driving licence with a vehicle or a reliable lift.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
