A modern and forward thinking Secondary School in the North Leeds area are looking for an excellent teacher of Science for a full time role starting in January 2016 (or sooner if possible). You must be able to competently deliver all aspects of Science at KS3 and KS4 levels, and a specialism of Chemistry (A Level experience) is preferred but not essential.

The school is located around a ten minute drive from central Leeds and can be easily reached from most areas of West Yorkshire and some areas of North Yorkshire too. There is a regular bus route with a stop just a ten minute walk from the School gates.

The school itself is larger than average and serves a diverse cohort of students. Results are around national average and have been steadily increasing over the past 3 years due to the commitment of the school and SLT to ensure pupil progress and boost attainment. You will join a large department with a wealth of resources to help you ensure you are delivering exciting and engaging lessons and the full support of the school to ensure you succeed.

You must have recent experience of teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 and have evidence of ensuring pupil progress and making a positive impact. The school are happy to consider both newly-qualified teachers of Science looking to kick-start their career as well as more experienced teachers looking for a new challenge.
