Class Teacher – Christchurch (BH23)

About the Role
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Christchurch that is seeking a dedicated and motivated Class Teacher. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, high-quality lessons and support pupils’ academic progress, confidence, and overall development within a supportive school environment.

  • Location: Christchurch, Dorset (BH23)

  • Contract: Full-time (flexible for the right candidate)

  • Pay: £600 – £800 per week (paid weekly)

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching where required

  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development

  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Work collaboratively with staff, pupils, and parents/carers

  • Follow safeguarding procedures and promote pupil welfare at all times

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • ECTs and experienced teachers welcome to apply

  • Good understanding of the KS2 curriculum

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • Positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching
