Catholic school teachers needed for growing partnership across Bradford!

Are you a teacher who has experience working in a Roman Catholic High School? Or are you a teacher who has worked in a faith school that understands what it really means to follow a faith, and ensure the students follow and contribute to the Catholic ethos of the school? Working in collaboration with out workforce partner  Leeds Trinity University, we are pathing the way to get more CCRS qualified teachers back in the schools!

Firstly I am looking for educators who have the CCRS qualification! CCRS stands for the Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies and is awarded by the Board of Religious Studies on behalf of the Bishops' Conference of England and Wales. It is an important certificate for teachers wishing to teach in a Catholic school, and a key qualification for professional development.

The CCRS gives each person a theological literacy and enables them to understand and contribute to the ethos of a Catholic school and other schools with a religious character.

Teaching Personnel is the market leader in teacher supply, and a large part of this success has been built upon a strong foundation with our Roman Catholic partner schools. We work with Dioceses from all over the country, but especially in the West Yorkshire area.

My clients Catholic school’s ethos is at the centre of all that they do. Seeking to nurture the spiritual development of each individual pupil, they teach the importance of moral values and showing consideration for others.

On behalf of my partners I am looking for all teachers of all subject areas. Teacher who:

  • Have worked in UK secondary schools previously,
  • Have taught on the  1-9 grading system,
  • A UK recognised teaching qualification,
  • NQTs with relevant experience are welcome to apply
  • Can adapt to new situations quickly & have the ability to think on your feet
  • Have an upbeat and positive attitude towards the education of young people
  • Can support and be sympathetic to the Catholic  ethos of the school
  • Have a DBS certificate registered on the Update Service OR BE WILLING TO DO SO.
