Business Teacher required in Twickenham

Secondary school teacher needed - £120-£230 a day

About the School

A secondary school located in Twickenham currently seeking Business teachers available to work on a full time basis starting in September.

The successful candidate is expected to have a passionate attitude and is eager to shape young minds. The school are looking for fully qualified teachers with a PGCE or QTS who can engage children using innovative teaching methods. Experience working in UK Secondary schools would be ideal and applicants will need UK recognised qualifications.

The school has a community atmosphere and had an ethos based upon equality of opportunity. There are expectations to maintain high standards upheld by the senior leadership and are expected to be maintained all staff.

The staff ensures every student has the opportunity and ability to excel in later life. They give students the tools the create success where ever they are.

Ofsted gave this school a rating of "outstanding" and stated leadership has clear plans for improvement to boost their rating, they also noted; "The provision for pupils' personal development is outstanding. Carefully devised programmes enable pupils to develop their leadership skills and take responsibility for their behaviour."

This fantastic school is looking for strong candidates who not only care about their students and can control a class proficiently, but are also excited by the subject they teach.

About the role

  • Business teacher
  • Experience teaching in Secondary schools at KS3-5 level
  • It would be a Full-time role working 5 days a week, 8:30am - 3:30pm
  • There is a temporary role on offer lasting between 2 terms and 1 year, with an option to go permanent
  • Pay rate would be between £120 and £230 a day depending on experience and education
  • Creating engaging and interesting lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • The school expect the incoming Business teacher to provide extra tuition to those who made need it.
  • There will be a requirement to plans, prepare, mark and assess student's work as well as providing feedback.

Requirements - Please do not apply if you do not meet the below requirements

  • A Business teacher with experience teaching in Secondary schools at KS3,4 or 5 level
  • The teacher would require UK recognised teaching qualifications (BA QTS, BSc QTS, CERT ED, PGCE)
  • A passionate and friendly teacher with a hard-working attitude and dedication towards their students
  • Good behaviour management would be ideal

The school is a 12 minute walk from Twickenham station, located in Twickenham.
