Teaching Personnel are working alongside a secondary school in Salford who is currently looking for a Business Studies teacher.
Due to a member of staff going on maternity leave after Christmas, our client school are looking for a new Business Studies teacher to join the department in January 2020.
Our client school is based in Salford and is accessible via the M62 and A580 from areas such as Bolton, Whitefield and central Manchester. Our client school can also be accessed via public transport from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.
- Full-time Business Studies teacher required from January 2020 until the end of the academic year (July 2020).
- Teaching a full timetable up to GCSE level.
- Taking on full planning and marking responsibilities.
- Must hold specific subject qualifications in Business Studies.
- Pay in line with scale point (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490).
Application Requirements
- Must have QTS alongside a subject specialism within Business Studies.
- Any experience with challenging behaviour or learning difficulties is desired.
Working as a Business Studies teacher in our client school, you will be expected to:
- Plan, prepare and deliver Business Studies lessons to meet the needs of individual students at various levels of learning.
- Assess and evaluate student’s progress and report it back to senior members of staff in order to take appropriate action.
- Promote positive behaviour management in line with school behaviour policies.
- Mark classwork and homework and be able to distribute this efficiently.
- Support with the development of Schemes of Work in line with the National Curriculum for Business Studies.
