TA position for Primary School Hearing Impaired Resource Base - Immediate Start - On-going until end of Academic Year

  • British Sign Language level 2 or above is desired
  • Looking for pro-active and bright personality, FLEXIBLE
  • One-to-one work with Hearing Impaired pupil

Our Outstanding client school is seeking to recruit a Primary TA for their Hearing Impaired Resource Base within the school to work one-to-one with a pupil.

The post is starting in September 2017 and has the potential to go on until the end of the academic year.

The school are considering applicants with experience working alongside HI pupils and those with a level 2 in British Sign Language first and foremost.

As your experience of working with BSL is essential, the school can be flexible around your availability.

The school will also consider the right-fit personality for the base, ideally a candidate with a bright and enthusiastic approach to work and a keen interest in the environment.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
