Are you qualified in British Sign Language with a minimum of level 2, and have a passion for working with children?

The Role

A Salford Primary School require support for a year 1 pupil with Hearing Impairment. The role will be part time (mornings) to work alongside the school SENCO and class teacher to support the pupil both in and out of the classroom. As a Teaching Assistant using British Sign Language, you will support the pupil student throughout their daily timetable, accompanying them to lessons, activities and around the school. You would be required to help them communicate and translate what is happening and may need to help them with some behaviour.

The role is full time and to start in September . The school are keen on seeing CVs over the next 2 weeks before arranging online inteviews.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
