We are currently seeking a part-time BSL Assistant to work at one of our partner schools in the Levenshulme area, graded as “good” by Ofsted. The school is a mainstream Primary School Primary school that has a sensory support unit attached for hearing impaired students. The school commits itself to providing an inclusive environment for all, with the children encouraged to learn BSL to communicate.
The Candidate Ideally you will have a flexible nature and be prepared to cover across all years where needed. Your role will be supporting with behaviour management and to engage and interact with the children to enable them access the curriculum fully.
The school is committed to work together with everyone involved in the life of their pupils and school. In addition, any of the following skills or qualifications would be desirable to the role: - School based SEN experience - Makaton experience or BSL (to any level) - An empathetic and caring personality What we can provide Teaching Personnel are education specialists with 23 years experience in the field. You will be provided with your own specialist consultant who will take care of your needs and advise you through the clearing and work process.
You will have access to free safeguarding training and an online diary so you can manage your work times more efficiently. You will also have access to our CPD Academy, in which you will be able to attend training courses in order to aid your personal development in your career. What next?

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
