 Behaviour Management Specialist – SEN College in Camberwell

Location: Camberwell, London

Rate: £90 - £100 per day (experience dependant)

Type: Full Time, Long Term, ASAP start

We are an esteemed education agency representing a leading SEN College in Camberwell and we are currently seeking a dedicated Behaviour Management Specialist to join our committed team. If you have the expertise to promote positive behaviours and create a supportive learning environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and support the school's behaviour management policies.
  • Work closely with students to understand and address challenging behaviour.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group mentorship to promote positive social and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to create tailored plans to improve behaviour.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies to enhance the overall school environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of behaviour incidents and interventions using school MIS.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Behaviour Management Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and engage them in the learning process.
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach to addressing challenging behaviour.
  • Familiarity with the UK educational system is advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
